Razan Z. Yahya

Biography

Dr. Yahya is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the SSB group at KAUST. She graduated from her PhD in December 2024. under the supervision of professor Lauersen. Dr. Yahya is from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She completed her undergraduate degree at King Abdul-Aziz University in the biology division, in the Genomics and biotechnology department. She continued on to receive her Master's in Bioscience Studies at KAUST, where her research focused on testing the temporal variability of prokaryotic and viral loads in dust samples over the Red Sea. Razan has a broad interest in microbiological aspects and biotechnological applications of microalgae.
