On July 16th, Mauricio Masson defended his PhD thesis titled: A CO2 response in Galdieria organic carbon metabolism and investigation of its pigment composition for biotechnological applications.

His thesis was composed of Prof. Andreas Webber (HHU Düsseldorf), Prof. Fabian Schmidt and Prof. Pascal Saikaly.
