Seminar and visit from Dr. Vimac Nolla Ardevol from Puratos Belgium

On November 10th, the SSB Group was proud to host Dr. Vimac Nolla Ardevol from Puratos, one of the largest ingredients manufacturers in Europe. Vimac's presentation was titled "Bread making in the 21st century: Use of biotechnology to develop better and healthier breads". He described how biotechnology is used to improve the flavor and textures of bread. Dr. Nolla gives this seminar virtually every year for KAUST BioE students, however, this year, we managed to have his presentation in person on KAUST campus.
