Professor Lauersen was appointed to the Editorial Board of the new journal Critical Insights in Plant Science.

Critical Insights in Plant Science is the companion journal to the highly respected Critical Reviews in Plant Science. It is a fully open access journal publishing the best original research and review articles covering the breadth of plant science, plant biochemistry and related processes.

The journal's aim is to provide an authoritative venue for research outlining recent advancements, developments, and ‘critical insights’ impacting the future development of plant science and technology for researchers in academia and industry as well as students and policy makers.
