Today, Razan Yahya successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled: "Engineered volatile isoprene production from the eukaryotic green microalga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii ".

Razan presented the results of her work carried out in the SSB Lab during her five year PhD candidature to committee members Prof. Pascal Saikaly, Prof. Alexandre Soares Rosado, and external examiner Prof. Claudia Vickers from Queensland University of Technology.
