Feb 18th, 2025 - Prof. Lauersen gave an invited talk at the KAUST Research Conference on Optimizing Energy in the Circular Economy. He presented an overview of algal biotechnology, the Living Library of KSA Algae, and the work the SSB group is doing in synthetic biology to engineer specialty chemical production from algae.
